New Brunswick, NJ is thriving with local bands. I have always wished there was a hub where I could find shows, keep up with local artists, and find new ones. So this is the hub I always wished existed because I know the scene can be difficult to navigate especially to those new to New Brunswick and Rutgers. I am a DJ and Urban Director for one of the radio stations on campus (shoutout to thecore.fm) so a lot of my time is dedicated to talking to promoters and local artists. But radio is only one way for new artists to gain recognition. I wanted to create a platform where people could not only keep up with their favorite local artists but find new talent as well.
